[ENG] 8.1. [DKSF 70/71.6 IU] Browsing a Current Status of a Smoke Sensor

The page «ANLG SMOKE SENSOR» of a device web interface represents parameters of a smoke sensor (current loop) and allows configuring them. To the input of a current sensor, it is possible to plug smoke detectors and other sensors that have a standard interface of a current loop 5-20 mA. A current loop is powered by a device with the voltage of 12 V, and a sensor produces a signal through changing its resistance, which causes the change of the current in a loop.

A device contains one interface for connecting sensors. Several sensors may be plugged in a parallel to each other. However, in this case, it will be impossible to perform different actions (alarm signals) for each sensor separately.

To browse a current status of a smoke sensor, there is a need to go to the page «ANLG SMOKE SENSOR» of a device web interface:

In the section «SENSOR STATUS» it is possible to browse:

Status – is a current status of a current sensor. To browse a current status, there is a need to refresh the page by clicking the F5 button.

Possible statuses of a sensor:

  • Switched Off;
  • Open;
  • Short Circuit (Short Circuit in a Loop);
  • Norm;
  • Alert

Current in the Loop – is a current value of the loop in the current sensor, mA

Voltage Drop on the Loop – is a current value of the voltage drop in the loop of the current sensor, mV

Loop Resistance – is a current value of the resistance of the sensor loop, Ohm
