[ENG] 7.4. [DKSF 70/71.6 IU] How to Control an Input-Output Line in an «Output» Mode?

To control an IO line, there is a need to go to the page «DISCRETE IO» of a device web interface:

Managing an IO line in the output mode of a UniPing server solution v3SMS device

  1. Set the operation of an IO line to the mode «output»;
  2. Check a checkbox «Output Logic Level» to «Logic 0» or «Logic 1»;
  3. Save parameters by clicking the button «Apply changes»

Logic level – is a field that represents a current logic level of an IO line. It is updated automatically when a logic level of a line is changed with no need to refresh the entire page.

Output setup – is the setting of a logic level of a line that works as «output». A status of a logic «1» means that there is a voltage on an output line (open collector circuit). A status of logic «0» means the lack of voltage on an output line. On default: logic «0».

Single Pulse Generation – when clicking the button «pulse», an IO line that has been working as «output», will be inverted for a specified period of time. A length of a pulse is specified in the field «Pulse Duration (100-25500ms, step 100ms)». If a line is configured as «input» or «logic output», a button of generating a pulse is inactive.

In addition, an IO line can be managed by SMS-commands (in devices with a built-in GSM modem), by HTTP API commands, and using SNMP protocol.
