[ENG] 6.4. [DKSF 70/71.6 IU] What Is «Schedule», and How to Configure It?

The module «Schedule» allows setting a schedule, according to which a relay will be switched on and off.

To use the module «Schedule», a relay must be switched to the mode «Schedule» or «Schedule+Watchog» on the page «RELAY» of a device web interface. To configure the module «Schedule», there is a need to go to the page «SCHEDULE» of a device web interface:

STATUS

Local Clock – shows a current time, day of the week, and a date.

Local Time Shift – is a timezone. It is configured on the page «SETUP» of a device web interface.

NTP Status – displays a status of a time synchronization via an NTP protocol. Addresses of NTP servers are configured at the page «SETUP» of a device web interface.

Weekly Schedule

In the section «Weekly Schedule (Channel 1)» a schedule is set for a relay management. For every day of a week, it is possible to configure four intervals for a relay to switch on/off.

An interval starts from the time of switching a relay on (a column «On») and ends with the time for switching off (column «Off»). The time is indicated in the format «hh:mm» in the range 00:00 – 23:59. Time must be increased from the left to the right. In the interval, a time to switch on must be before a time to switch off. A time of switching on in the interval 2 must be later than the time of switching off in the interval 1. The cells may be left empty. When empty, the next not empty cell with work. For example, it is acceptable to switch on a relay on «MON» and switch it off on «FRI».

A column «Same as prev. day» allows applying the schedule of a previous day to the current day in one click, thus making a schedule configuration easier. To apply a schedule of a previous day to the current day, there is a need to check a corresponding checkbox.

A time of action («On» or «Off»), which was executed the last, is displayed on the page in bold, which allows to quickly determine which action and in which interval will be executed next.

After setting all necessary parameters, there is a need to click the button «Apply changes».

Holiday's Substitution

Lines «Aux 1», «Aux 2», «Aux 3» allow setting a special schedule for holidays. These schedules are linked to holidays in the section «Holiday's substitution».

The section «Holiday's Substitution» allows setting a special schedule for holidays, or link a schedule of any workday to a holiday. A memory of a device can store up to eight holidays.

In the line «Date» a date of a holiday is indicated in the format «dd.mm» in the range 01.01 – 31.12.

In the line «Substitute» a schedule is indicated, which will be used on this day. A drop-down list allows choosing the next variants: «MON», «TUE», «WED», «THU», «FRI», «SAT», «SUN», «Aux 1», «Aux 2», «Aux 3».

After setting all necessary parameters, there is a need to click the button «Apply changes».

Default Relay State

A relay state while a failure of setting the clock determines a relay reaction in the moment of a time reset in embedded clock in a device. Possible modes are: «Permanent On», «Permanent Off», «Ignore failure».

This setting is activated when resetting the time and date to the date before 2000. If the clock will be reset to the date after 2000, then a device will not use this setting.

Permanent On – when resetting the clock, a relay will be always on regardless a configured schedule.

Permanent Off – when resetting the clock, a relay will be always off regardless a configured schedule.

Ignore failure – when resetting the clock, a relay will continue to work on the basis of a configured schedule.

After setting all necessary parameters there is a need to click the button «Apply changes».
