Sending notifications when a status of a temperature sensor is changed is configured on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface:

When clicking the button «Setup», a menu of settings appears for sending notifications of the next types: Log, Syslog, E-mail, SMS, and SNMP Trap:

where:

  • Temperature is above safe range  is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a current temperature exceeded the top margin of a safe range for this temperature sensor. On default: a checkbox is not checked;
  • Temperature is in safe range – is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a current temperature returned to the margins of a safe range for this temperature sensor. On default: checkbox is not checked;
  • Temperature is below safe range – is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a current temperature decreased below a bottom margin for this temperature sensor. On default: checkbox is not checked;
  • Sensor fault – is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a connection with a sensor is lost. On default: checkbox is not checked;
  • Include in Summary Report  – is a checkbox, when checked reports about a status of a sensor will be sent by e-mail, SMS and/or SNMP Trap. Time for sending reports is specified on the pages «SMS» and «E-MAIL», and a configuration of periodic sending of SNMP Trap is specified on the page «SETUP» in the section «SNMP TRAP». On default: checkbox is not checked;
  • Repeat 3 Times Alarm Notification with Period  sets a time interval for sending 3 alarm notifications if readings of a temperature sensor do not return to a safe range for a long time. Possible values are: «Off», «5 min», «30 min», «2h», «6h», «12h», «24h». On default: off.

After setting all necessary parameters, click the button «Apply changes».
