Sending notifications when a status of a smoke sensor is changed is configured on the page «SMOKE» of a device web interface:

When clicking the button «Setup», a menu of settings will appear for sending notifications of the next types: Log, Syslog, E-mail, SMS (in a device with a built-in GSM modem), and SNMP Trap:

where:

  • Alert – is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a smoke sensor defined a presence of smoke. On default: a checkbox is not checked;
  • Normal State – is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a smoke sensor switched to a normal state. On default: a checkbox is not checked;
  • Powered Off or Failed – is a checkbox, when checked a device will send notifications if a connection with a sensor is lost or a smoke sensor is powered off. On default: a checkbox is not checked.
  • Include in Summary Report – is a checkbox, when checked, reports about a status of a sensor will be sent by e-mail, SMS and/or SNMP Trap. Time of sending reports in indicated on the pages «SMS» and «E-MAIL», periodic sending of SNMP Trap is configured on the page «SETUP» in the section «SNMP TRAP». On default: a checkbox is not checked.

After setting all necessary parameters, click the button «Apply changes».
